Objectives：As we know movie and TV literatureis the basis of fiction or non-fiction artistic creation. It is very difficultfor students to improve writing proficiency without the workshop of movie andtelevision literature, because in the workshop students and teachers to work ingroups. They will follow teaching plan to carry out a training project. Thisapproach is educational as well, and the final goal is to lead the students towriting their own literary scripts of fiction and non-fiction film.
Contents：There are two parts of the Movie& TV literature Creation workshop. Part 1 （required2 credits） supports the Movie & TelevisionLiterature course, and includes all kinds of training courses, such ascharacter, structure, scenarios, literary expression and the text of filmcreation elements etc. Two modules are also in workshop part 2 （elective 4 Credits）, one is for fiction filmwriting and practice, and another is for non-fiction film. Documentary Director Course helps students to knowabout the basic content and methods of feature Documentary and how to directinga documentary film.
Contents：There are five parts of this course;the teaching covers key points and methods in different phases （prophase, metaphase and anaphase）.
Apart from the theory, this course will pay much moreattention to the documentary’s shooting and production, such asthe topics, workflow, types, styles, and the basic principles and methods of documentary.
Part 1 of 5： Writing and Developing an Idea
1. Choose a worthy topic; 2. Find a topic you areinterested in that will also be engaging and enlightening for your audience; 3.Give the film a purpose; 4. Research on your topic; 5. Write an outline.
Part 2 of 5： Staff, Techniques and Scheduling

Objectives：There are two goals of thedocumentary workshop. The first is for students and teachers to work in groups.They will follow teaching plan to carry out a training project. This approachis educational as well, and the final goal is to lead the students to make theirown documentary.
Documentary Workshop is foundational course to improvethe students' abilities of documentary film creation.
Contents：Documentary Workshop part 1 （required） supports the Documentary Directorcourse, and includes all kinds of training courses. According to the two broadcategories of natural and humanities documentary, in Documentary Workshop part2 （elective）, students need toproduce a science documentary, ecological-environmental documentary and featurefilm, newsreel, traditional documentary, columns documentary and other genres.
In each type of documentary filmmaking, both teachersand students will begin from subject and planning to filming interviews,live-recording, script writing and postproduction.
